Default Mid pipe ???

Whats up guys im gonna be getting a O/R x pipe soon and i wanted to know once its installed will it throw a check engine light? if so how do you get rid of it?

If all you're installing is the new X pipe, there shouldn't be any codes thrown.

hey u asked myself the same thing, and when i did my catless X i had my local exhaust shop drill 2 bungs for the o2s and put the o2s in but with a few washers so its only slightly sticking in so the exhaust does't burn out the 02s and doesn't throw and codes which mine didn't throw any with no cats by doing that. if i could take the sensors out i would but as you can see when you get under your car theres no way thats happening enless you cut them, and i didn't see anywhere i coudl hide them or place them as well.

Typically, the cats are mounted on the mid pipe in front of where an X pipe is installed. If your X - pipe is removing the cats, then yes you'll get some codes.
