I bought my car totaled, Don't worry as long as they are a good shop they will get it back to perfect. Mine now has a clean title and looks and drives like showroom floor condition.
Check with Colton at Corvette Recycling (forumn vender) he may have an exact color match fender for your car and its an easy swap. If the body shop does it than you may have a color match question after all is said and done.
I have my "spare" rear fascia on my 01 (I trim'd it to install my track tire trailer hitch frame). Cars were built/panels painted at totally different times at BG, and the paint matches perfect. They must do a good job of quality control at their paint booth(s).
That is a bummer but it is nice to see there are still honest people at there. I'm sure it'll be back better than ever and maybe all that slippery wax cut down on the damage.
