Default Rearview Mirror lighting Question........

Hi people,, I'm new here and I don't post often here because if you do a search,, somebody already beats you to the question. But I was unable to find this out. I purchased the entire led bulbs kit from CorvetteMods.com and they work really well..... The only thing left are the Rearview mirrors. Is there any way I can match the lights under the rearview mirror to those I installed under the footwells and trunk. If so, whats the procedure as far as removing the lens(pop them out or ?) and where can i find the bulbs...Thanx....

BTW, are there any other lights i can replace?.... Hoodlight,,,, vanity mirror,,,, etc......

As far as your question I have read somewhere you can change the bulbs.

Do you have the auto dimming mirror? Because if you do it already has LED's in it. The LED's aren't easy to replace but I've done it quite a few times and if you are comfortable with soldering and unsoldering from a circuit board it pretty easy. If you want to change colors of the LED's you have to take the mirror apart and unsolder the LED's from the circuit boards. Then solder new ones in. If you change to a color other than red you will have a problem getting all the LED's to light.

If you you don't have the auto dimming mirror its as easy as changing the bulb to a LED replacement it takes 2 #212 festoon that you can get at http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm
