Do they offer a rolling air jack between the rails so you can jack up the front or rear to change tires ? Is it a bolt down to the floor ?
Several companies offer everything from the static jacking bridge you see on mine below to powered jacks that will lift one end of the car while on the lift for wheel/brake/suspension work. I use a scissors or airbag jack to lift one end of the car. Only takes a couple of minutes and the jacking bridge is low profile so takes little room compared to the big, powered jacks that reside permanently between the ramps.
Here's a full air-hydraulic rolling bridge jack. This one costs as much as the lift itself.

Hey Patches, that is my next mod for the lift. I am sure I will get tired of the double bottlejack routine this summer so I need to get one like yours . Can I ask where you bought yours? I've looked at at least 10 lift companies accessories and the cost of a rolling jack is a deal killer IMHO. I also like the idea of the double bag air jack for less than $300 here and there. Have you looked into these?
Do your self a favor BOLT YOUR LIFT TO THE FLOOR your vette will feel more secure. I have a similar lift made by Direct Lift it's a godsend I store one vette on top of the other. JAY
I have 2 lifts that look just like that one and I can't get my C5 on either one with the same ramps you have hooked onto yours. Did your spoiler drag when you drove the C5 on?

I'll find out as soon as I replace the opener with the jackshaft on-wall model; it eliminates all that hardware from the ceiling. I have 10' 3" height, so I can get the family truckster and the C5 in together according to our calculations.

I thought it would drag, but Steve said it didn't...I couldn't hear it with the engine idling fast due to the cold temp. The ramps are 3' long...maybe that has something to do with it.
That's it. My ramps are maybe 2' long. One is an Eagle and one is a pro-park 7, but they are both identical. I guess I'll have to get some aluminum diamond plate and go to my favorite metal shop to use their shear and brake.
