Need a lift? No assembly required!
I wasn't about to let a cold winter day hold us back. Here is my new lift from Aresco here in sunny Michigan...I won't tell you how freakin' cold it was, but can you say SINGLE DIGIT???.
Steve from Aresco in Pontiac, MI delivered it by himself and the two of us rolled it into the garage on lift casters. A couple adjustments and, bingo, I now have the lift I should have got 10 years ago...no more crawling around on the concrete floor. I highly recommend Aresco if you are anywhere near SE Michigan; great people to work with and very knowledgable and helpful. What 's nice about buying a lift locally is I didn't have to wrestle with assembly, and I avoided all the shipping hastles of unloading. Plus, when I move on later they will move it to another location or buyer...can't beat that. Oh, and it has a decent warranty too. Now for those mods I've been putting off!
Beautiful! I had to pay extra for Bend Pak to paint mine black.
Lucky you with local delivery and no assembly. Although, I will say that assembling my own lift was one of the more fun and educational projects I've done. Still, I did mine in the summer - wouldn't want to do it in single-digit weather!
Enjoy - you'll quickly discover it is one of the most valuable pieces of equipment you own.
That's cool,,getting it ready to go and right to your door!!! Years ago I got a Backyard buddy,,,heavy as hell and hat to put the friggen thing together!! I do love it though,,I'm sure you're going to love yours!! NO MORE CRAWLING UNDERNEATH!!!!!
I am assuming his "4-Post Lift/Trailer" was not exactly street legal?
Congrats on the lift, you will love it.
I am feel back for you that you got to miss out on the best part of getting a lift. Which would be the 3 hours spent trying to put it together and move around the extremely heavy parts.
I bought a SUPERIOR lift from the rep who had it on display at the BARRETT-JACKSON auction in Scottsdale a few years ago.
I had to wait until the auction was over to get it. Then he delivered in on a trailer just like that all assembled...at 2 a.m. in the dead of northern AZ winter...not quite as cold as you have it though.
Aside from that, it was like Christmas to wake up in the a.m. and see it standing there all ready for use.
