Do it yourself. Here is mine painted white with a decal 
Make sure you use exterior gloss paint and put on lots of coats. That way clean up is easy. Just a little windex cleans up any dust oil or grease. You want the surface shiny and smooth.

I too struggled with the idea of spending money on a custom paint job for the liner. I pulled it off and had the under-hood painted and clearcoated, and matched the FRC's. Looks great.
