Friend has painted the top of his battery. Wish I'd had my camera. He painted it to match the car (Mag Red) and clear coated it. It really looks great.

Cheap MOD and it looks really great.

Interesting idea. A painted cover on the battery may look nice also.

I've done it twice on show car tri five Chevy cars, but those were OPTIMA batteries.
I painted one only to cover the red top and the other was completely painted in body color.

Not a bad idea, but If I were showing a Vette, I would prefer the cover that covers the entire area.
