Spring travel
Hi All - Since my wife just lost her job we are now both retired.
I bought my car from a CF member last July.
I want to take a trip from Rhode Island to the Corvette Museum. Maybe even further.
Just want to hop in my '98 Purple Pearl Coupe and drive. That's what they are made for.
Any one with ideas for stops along the way - thinking of going in April - May.

Can't offer anything specific to see. But when we picked-up the Vette at the NCM, on the trip home we did not use the Interstates. Go the rural routes and really see the country! Plus a Vette is a lot more fun on country roads. 
BTW we both grew up in RI, in Bristol and North Kingstown.

I agree - back roads - I can't wait. Europe would be great but I'd like to see more of the US.
Maybe I'll go to the west coast. I have nothing but time on my hands.
Getting older isn't that bad - as long as we can stay healthy - have to find health insur. for the wife now.
She has 11/2 years till medicare.
