funniest thing
well not that funny anyway i have 01 6-speed and it grinds in second gear only but when when i put it in competive mode does not grind only sometimes why? i'm looking to get a c6 trans and put it on but dont know if it bolts right up without no problems thanks

No connection here. I bet it doesn't grind all the time when not in competative mode.
I would start with simple fixes, first align your shifter (do a search) if it is stock.
Next I would try a fluid change.
