16 - with a Corvette? Good luck, you're gonna need it. At 16 years old the only thing I wanted to do was go fast and burn rubber. That car will cost you your drivers license if not careful. The bad news is - at age 16, "caution" is usually not in the vocabulary.

I wish you all the best and a LOT of luck, but 16 is too young for a Vette. That's a very bad car to start out with IMO.

Congrats on the sweet ride.
Be careful, these cars can bring out the worst in you. This is a pic of a friend on mine, he was 18 and showing off at a party. Leave traction control on.

That was over $21,000 in damage to a new ZO6. The driver is in the red shirt. It was his dad's Vette.

Words to live by!

I'm actually 15, and still need to take that darn driver's license test. You take care of that car man, don't get into trouble ya hear?

Oh, and definetly don't take it to school. A bunch of haters will vandalize it, thinking you're some snobby rich kid. I know, it happened to my teacher

It's really your dad's, right?? If not, good luck! Don't do anything stupid.

Congrats!!! I don't even like leaving mine in my driveway. My first car had a nice paint job, it got keyed with in a month of driving it to school. But you could just try the old trick of parking it to a nicer car.

Very cool, that car will get alot of high school girl tail. Dont be getting any girl pregnant now, or you'll have to trade it in for a van.

Congrats,........I am jealous.

My first car was a 1974 Toyota Celica................and I paid for it.

You have a ticket to the fast lane,...............remember to be conservative and go with inner voice to play it cool...........it will be tough. Remember that you will get laid whether your can smoke the tires 100 feet or beat that WRX...............low key is the way to go.

Your wallet will thank you.

Very nice vert. Congrats.

Probably a wise decision to not daily drive it to school for many reason. Good choice.

As said, be careful. RR drive cars can get a bit of a handful.

Oh, and get that sucker lowered!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful with it. I know at times it will be hard not to do something dumb but let your good sense get you through it. The people that try to get you to do bad things, are not friends.

Very nice ride!!
