Default Losing my mind!!

OK, guys and gals. Here is my problem. I have had just about (I just about sure all) all of the codes the car can think of and some I think it threw in for kicks and giggles.
Seriously, I was coming home and it started giving messages like active handling, tire mont sys, abs, reduced power and all of the lights came on the dash along with the back lighting for the HVAC. Also if that were not enough to scare the @$@$@ out of you all of the gauges stopped working except for the speed and tach.

1. I have already looked for the ground problems and can find none. I looked at all of the grounds under the hood to include the c\ground points by the headlights. They are as clean as they were the day it came of the line. The battery and tray were taken out and no acid problem.
2. I reset everything and noticed the memory button was flashing at me. I tried to set it with no luck. I also noticed that the passenger window will not roll down. The driver side will.
3. I love my car but it is sure trying my patience.
4. I want my baby back like she was when I still loved her. She is sick and can't tell me how to fix her. Feeling a little helpless here.
5. Any doctors in the house???????????????????:con fused:

If you check the DIC codes you'll probably have a bunch of U codes telling you its a power gltch of some sort.

First check the battery. Have an on load check done

The most likely place to start is pull open the rubber gaiter in the door hinge on both sides. Check the connections and clean them up and maybe add a tad of dielectric grease. Check closely for any chafing of the wires that may be causing a short.

Check the door accordians for an exposed wire. Likely culprit.

You may have a battery just about dead. Pull it out and have it load tested at Kragens or whatever's close by. Sometimes all the electrical stuff will start acting crazy like that with a weak battery.

If your battery is 5 yrs. old, replace it now.......it won't last much longer anyway. I did, and my gremlins disappeared.

Good luck

Battery is only couple of weeks old and is an optima red top. But the good news I hope is I may be on to it with the help I have gotten from all of you.

I went to the car and turned the switch on and tried to roll the passenger window down again. Still NO GO!!

However: I opened the passenger door and started moving the tube around while I was holding the window button down and WHALAAAA!!!! It started working!!!!

So tomorrows project is to take both door panels off and both kick panels and check all of the wires from one end to the other and clean all of the conections and make sure none are grounded.

Sure hope this tears up the grimlin home. That sorry @#%@% needs to be homeless for awhile.

Thanks for all of the help. Sure hope this clears it all up.

Hope you have found the problem and can fix it without any major expense.

Your problem is likely not behind the door panels but (as others above have suggested) is in the wire harness that leads from the body to the door through the black rubber accordian tube. There is a bare wire covered by a clear tube that was the culprit when this happenned to me. A couple wraps of electrical tape and the gremlin is removed.

Great tip, bare wire and clear tube sounds like an engineering marvel

I think everyone means the same thing

No need to pull door panels to get to the rubber gaiters

Had same thing and it was the positive battery cable. Back in the day, 1999, I had a leaking OEM battery. Changed that but never paid attention to the cables. Seems the corrosion finally destroyed my cable below the plastic cover where you can't see. Changed it out, problem gone.
PS, my voltage would read 11.6> 14.1 while driving, just bouncing.
