Read through the thread of "C5 secrets revealed" didn't find my answer. Was wondering how do you get your fog lights to work w/o
having your headlights on?

Twist the controls on the steering column to "dusk" and then hit the fog light button to the left of the console above the knee bolster and next to the trunk release button (for VertesZ06/Hardtops) - not sure if it is the hatch release for coupes.
Tried that so if I want the fog lamps on w/o the headlight popped up would I have to manually put the head lights down?
Hmmm. There should be a three-point click system on the steering wheel control arm; (1) off (2) Dusk - which lowers the output on the daytiime running lamps and allows for the fog lights to work and (3) headlamps on - Pop-ups with or without fog lights.
If that doesn't work, check the controls button on the DIC. You might need to turn the twilight option on/off before it works. I can't remember which.
On my '98, I can just flash them manually by pulling back on the turn signal lever during the day without doing anything else. That's how I "wave" at other vettes during the day. Sometimes people can't see me thru my tinted windows! But, I've never had anyone ever flash me back! Hummmmm!
If I want to leave them on, I can turn on the park lights without the headlites popping up.
