I've had my 50th Anni since Oct 07 and am 3rd owner with no history of past maintenance (a little unsettling not to have records). To date: replaced the AC delco battery with an Optima Redtop (may have had the orig in it so that's not a biggy), had left rear axle seal and differential leaks repaired, and most recently had the CLB put on(thanks to everyone on CF who helped me learn what to do about that). So, that's about $950 buck in 16 months of ownership - not too bad I guess?
I can't say I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever, but I certainly have had very few, especially considering that mine has been my daily driver for 4 1/2 years now. I bought it with 32k on it and it now has 102k on it. So far I've had the dim HVAC display twice (first time I didn't know about the easy fix, so this time I can fix it for free instead of replacing the whole unit), I have had my ECM die on me (corrosion killed it) and my oil pressure sending unit died on me a year ago (didn't bother to fix it) Right now the passenger side headlight motor is giving me trouble, but only when it's really cold out. It seems to work just fine when the temps are 25F or warmer. So this car has been very reliable for me!
A few in almost three years... Minor leak in diff that comes and goes, wheel speed sensor harness connection. That's about it. Forum has been great source of info.
I'v had my car for 2 yrs this week and have only spent about $50 in repairs (Leaky water pump gasket). New gaskets and full coolent change, did the labour myself.
