Harmonic balancer help
Has anyone replaced the harmonic balancer with the attached pulley? the rubber seal around the pulley seems to be pressing out and it is making the pulley wabble quite a bit. Is it a quick easy jobe to remove and reolace it?

I purchased all the parts and looked at the car on a lift & backed away. I would have tried it if I had help from someone that did the job before. Figure when I get my headers and cats installed the shop can do a new pulley. Anyway I'm selling all the parts for a lot less then I paid. G/L

Not an easy job. The steering rack has to come out to get the balancer out. I would find a good Corvette shop to have this work done. Englandgreen did mine.

I wouldn't touch that as a 'garage project' using YOUR 10 foot pole!
If you DO decide to tackle it just make sure and 'pin' the new one on to the crank as they tend to have a nasty habit of spinning loose.

Especially getting that pulley off and then re-torque to 240lb-ft. without the wheels or flywheel turning.
