The wifie was in the Twin Cities last summer with her 2004 Honda Accord visiting friends & one of our Daughters. While parked at my daughters house, a hail storm blew in and did $12k damage to the car and many $$ in damage to my daughters house (needed a new roof, gutters, some siding and a new window) . That stuff is really destructive! You got lucky that it was not bigger!
I know the feeling,,, We've just had a nice warm spell that helped get rid of 8" of sleet and snow!! The wife is a teacher,,got a couple of snow days off from school!!
I drove though a hail storm in my ranger a few months back. the hail was about the size of a nickle and I thought the roof and windshield were going to cave in on me. That was not a very fun drive. Glad your car didn't have any damage.
last summer we had about $40,000 in hail damage to our property a vehicals. Thankfully the vette was in the garage!! The hail ranged in size from golf ***** to softballs and it came down hard!
