HUD Problems....
A week ago my HUD was working just fine. I parked the car in the sun and it was about 80 outside so the sun was pretty intense. When I started the car the HUD only shows the RPMs as the rest of the display is blank. In the past when this has happened the display would come back after the car cooled down. A week later it is still not working. When I first start the car the full display does light up as it goes through a startup sequence but then goes dark. Any thoughts?
The car is a 2002 C5 Convertible.

The commands to it come through the IP Cluster. Its possible that the ribbon cable on the rear of the cluster is not attached completely, but its also possible that the hud itself is having issues. The hud has its own little projector inside that may have developed a problem.
