interior swap-tools needed?

A door panel puller is nice, but not a necessity, so if you can't find one, don't worry. If you know where the six panel pins are, you can actually pull the panels off by hand. (carefully, but it's possible). Sometimes I would use a screwdriver with a towel wrapped around it, just to pry the panel forward enough to get some fingers under the edge... and from there, a sharp pull away from the door will dislodge the pin. Repeat for the other five pins... it gets easier as you go. I'll be removing mine again this week when my Vette Essentials door pulls arrive!
I would also recommend, besides the basic metric socket set, some extensions. The glove box has some bolts way in the back, behind some access holes in the glove box tray, that you'll never reach without an extension. To make it easier, I actually used a 10" extension.
Other than that, the majority of the panels and pieces can simply be pulled off by hand (carpeting, door sills, lower seat belt covers, etc.) and the rest require either 7mm, 8mm, 10mm or 14mm (I think that's the size for the seat bolts), and you'll need some Torx bits too. T15 is the normal size for pieces like the radio bezel; and I think there's some T20 bolts in or around the steering column. One thing I've learned is that there are a lot of different torx bolts on this car, so buying a torx set will be a wise investment!
If you are doing the steering wheel swap, make sure you have a GOOD puller because I have heard that these steering wheels are tricky, and many pullers actually break while trying to remove the wheel. For that reason, and the fact that I don't want to risk playing with an airbag, I'm having the dealer do my wheel swap come spring.

For all the plastic parts and the dash pieces you'll need the following:
1/4" drive ratchet with both long and short extentions.
10mm socket
7mm socket
T-15 Torx
T-25 Torx
Medium length flat head screw driver.
That should get you going with your disassembly.
