Looks like the vette I bought has had the Ecl harness replaced at a dealership in Claremont, CA. It was done on 06/26/2002 and looks to be #04006.
Is this all that needs to be done to the car to solve the infamous locking column and fuel shut off? Do I still need to do the CLB modification, or just put a jumper in the connector?
Done some searches, but don't know exactly what to do with it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and knowledge.

The GM recall has proven to not be bulletproof. One of the first things I did to my '04 was buy and install a column lock bypass (CLB) (even though it had the recall done on it before I purchased the car) -- that way it's fixed for good, and I simply never have to wonder if/when the GM solution will fail.
