window valet question

window valet question

I have to take my car in for an emissions test and I have the window valet plugged into the port under the dash.
My understanding is that they plug something into that port to test the car. My question is, if I have to unplug the window valet for them to do that will I have to reprogram it or will it save the settings?
I have never had to have a car tested. Hopefully it will pass.

I've unplugged mine without having to reprogram. It should be fine. At worst its only a few minutes to reset the WV

Same here, had the car tested through that plug, and no reprogramming required.

Hey thanks guys. It made sense that it would save the settings but just thought I would ask anyhow. Just curious more than anything.
