First of all - the Z06 is a C5. The way you can tell the difference in body styles is by the roof.
The Z06 and it's predecessor the Fixed Roof Coupe have a notchback rear window and no removeable roof. The fixed roof body style also has a trunk. Here's a copy of the press release announcing the Z06 back in '01. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/.../2001over.html
The Coupe has a slanting back window which serves as access to the cargo area, and has a removable roof panel.
