Default Replacement seats

I just got my 04 Z06 and oplayed at the track a little. One thing that really stands out is that I cannot stay in the dang seat. I am worn out from trying to hang on to the wheel and stay in the seat. The ZR1 has adjustable side bolsters. What kind of seats are you guys running that keep you in place?

I'm running a Sparco Roadster in my car, it's a nice compromise between a full race seat and the crappy stock seat. Decent lateral support and I was able to make the stock belts work. I loved the seats in my '91 ZR-1 also so I know what you mean.

i felt the same about the stock seats. you spend more time controlling your body then the car on track. I just picked up a pair of Caravaggio race seats. they are based off the sparco roadster II.

the best part about these seats is that they'll work with the stock 3-point belts so they are usable on the street.

Great looking seats AIB. I like the inserts too. It makes them look more comfortable.

Those seats look great. did they get you any extra headroom? I am looking for something to get me lower in the vehicle. My helmet touches the roof sometimes now.

I'm not that tall, 5'10" on a good day, so head room isn't really an issue for me even with the helmet on.

These seats have the same range of movement as the stock seats, with the exception of the reclining feature since they're fixed back. They reused the OEM brackets, electronics & hardware. I'd imagine head room would be about the same, maybe just a 'touch' more since they're a little lower then the stock seats.

Sparcos have always been way too hard for any sort of daily driver use IMO.

I have the Caravaggios as well and although I haven't been able to actually "test them" as the car is in storage, just sitting in them is a noticable improvement! Also, you can pull the cushions and then you really feel glued in! I've heard Arizen makes a similar seat at a fraction of the cost!

How's the head room/leg room with the new Corbeau seats versus the stockers? Thanks!
