Kind of a pain but the rear-mount position doesn't allow any easy access. Gotta' get it on jack stands or a lift and run the procedure in the manual to check or change the fluid.

I got the drain plug, but I can't find where to fill it. It looks like the exhaust on the passenger's side might have to come down to get up there, if that's where it's at. I don't know, looks like a PIA

The drain plug is also the fill plug.
You fill it thru the drain plug hole.

if the drain plug is the fill plug how does it drain, or how do you fill through the drain plug? wont the fluid just run back out as you fill it? i will have to put my car up on my lift and check it out!!!

Fill til fluid comes out (use a fluid suction tool) ( looks sort of like a grease gun w/o the lever), start and run engine and refill til it comes out again. Careful as the exhaust pipe is just below the fill plug and it gets hot fast!!

To drain tranny, remove all pan bolts but bolts on one corner, then pry slightly on one corner to loosen pan (have a bucket under it), get out what you can then remove pan. Only about 5 quarts will come out. Rest stays in lines & tranny.

Do you suction the transmission fluid out and then refill until it starts to run out?
