get the adapter
ecklers sell the adapter kit. you can put a manual **** on your auto. it has a spring so to shift you push the **** down. i am trying to put a hurst t handle on my 03 auto but i cant find one with the right threads.

I'm thinking of the hurst handle also, the chrome one with HURST word. But that adapter looks like it will sit too high. I still might buy one and see if I like it.
I have the handle and it has plenty of metal to the body of it. I was thinking of making the actual handle act as it's own adapter by milling out the handle and tapping in a lock screw in the back. The stock shifter has a pin that sticks out the top pretty high. don't want to trim that because then there is no going back.
