My previous vehicle was a Chevy Silverado. I went for performance in that. It needed the help.
Now, I have the 'Vette. It's already fast. Faster than probably 95% of cars on the road. Coincidentally, it looks better than probably 95% of cars on the road. So, I guess it's really a toss up! You should just do whatever you find most fulfilling and not worry about whether it looks faster than it is...or is faster than it looks. You have a 'Vette....it doesn't matter what other people think!!

Which one do you want to do? I work around high performance Vettes all day - and frankly I prefer a little of both. I guess the real answer to the question is what is your ultimate goal?

Best advice so far...and I think I am going to do both. I am going to get the exhaust first. then re-do my interior, then put in the spray!!!

Question is, what is more important to you - performance or appearance. For me, it was appearance - partly because my car was under warranty the entire time I owned it. If you are into making the car very personal, then appearance is the way to go.
Like everyone else I too went thru this same torture....and I decided to go light with both.
Exterior: Air Intake, Long Tube Headers, Corsa Exhaust
Interior: Vette Essentials
As far as horsepower upgrade, I don't drag race at the track so I figured how fast can I go around my little town before I get stopped by the cops and ticketed. Besides the car goes pretty fast as it is.
It is impressive to have NO or a supercharger but again, what are you doing with it, racing or showing it off at car shows?
Good Luck.
Thanks for all your input guys! I think i have decided to put the BB Bullets on, then do some appearance. I am going to do some custom painting under the hood (fuel rails, radiator shroud, etc....) at the same time, but after that I might move to the interior and do some work there. Before i go back to performance!

If you plan on attending car shows and/or just want you car to be different then the others, then appearance is for you.
These are really questions you need to ask yourself.
Cheap. No such thing. Once you start, be it performance or appearance it just keeps going.
When I had mine I went with the appearance mods more than any performance changes - not because I didn't want the extra HP but rather because the car was still under warranty. You really need to decide what direction you want to go - both have their plusses.
