I have a 2003 Millennium Yellow Corvette with the Black and Tan Interior....
If i go with Performance, it will be exhaust followed by a DRY Nitrous kit/purge.
If i got with Appearance, it will be re do my Interior, with all black and yellow to match the outside, followed by Black w/ Chrome lip rims. (and maybe a screen in the dash)
any ideas, or places to do this work cheap, i would like to hear em.

Be careful with the mod bug. Cause once you get started there is no ending. You always will come up with new ideas. In know cause since Jan 15th I have spent over $1,500.00 just under the hood for apperance only plus I have an addtional $2,200.00 before I am finished. I think.
I had the same decisions to make a few years ago. I went with the perfomance upgrades, and now I am just in the final stretch of doing the appearance upgrades. The cowl hood, Tigershark front bumper, and Caravaggio rear spoiler are all in the works as we speak.
It's sacreligous to make it pretty before you make it faster.
, especially if you're talking about a Z06. It's plenty fast from the beginning... whereas the interior... um, needs help.
I figure "all show, no go" is only a bad thing if all your "show" is aimed at making people think you have a fast car.
Otherwise, interior improvements and such have no bearing (generally) on performance and can't be applied to the "all show, no go" mentality. COMPLETELY different categories.
With that being said, this year I spent $3100 on appearance mods (almost entirely on a new interior) and $280 on performance mods. You can tell which one I prioritized...
I've been doing a little of both for the last couple of years...
last few mods will be a hi-rise hood and then a H/C package...that should be it for the forseeable future....
It's been mentioned on this forum many times that the interior of the corvette just simply falls short of the standard so many other cars have reached.
The car goes like hell out of the show room so why not spend some change on the interior and make it what it should have been from the factory.
You can do a little or alot!
I have to agree though that once you start modding it is hard to break free from it.
I had a 2000.00 budget that has passed the 10,000.00 mark.
The only performance mod I have done has been Borla exhaust and the rest has been eye candy.
Not one regret because like I said "It goes like hell!"
