Default larger width, but lower aspect...

For you tire guys:
I've got to get new rear's, the current GS-D3's are near the wear bars. That said, I want to go wider, but tire rack and others don't carry 285/40/18's anymore. I can find up to 315's in 35 aspect all day long. Am I doomed to stay with my stock rear size? I've got 255's up front, but with the stock rear's the car likes to understeer too much on the track.
Thanks for the help in advance!

I ended up going with a 295/35/18 for my rears. I wanted to go up to a 305 or 315, but it starts getting tricky when you want to match a set.

what dimension are your fronts? I'm concerned about being out of ratio tolerance for the AH/TC. Have you had any problems with your setup?
