Perfect timing I'm trying to sell my car with no leaks ( at least that I know off) no problems and this I discover yesterday. I found some Red Fluid - I'm thinking tranny fluid under the car maybe about a quarter size right pretty much where the X-pipe ends and meets the catbacks. I know it's not differential fluid ( I've been reading up on them and the diff fluid is clear -correct?) I've notice this for about 3 days now and everytime I parked the car in the garage -there it is. How much fix am I looking at here, I try not to pretend that I know what i'm doing, but would really like not too spend a lot of money if this is going to be a easy fix. I figured FLP can fix this but the appointment time with them is weeks if not months. So i'm really at the mercy of the dealership here which is probably going to charge me an arm and a leg. Need help.

Sounds like it could be right in the area where the tranny meets the differential. My '00 had a leak there. There is is a silicone seal between the differential and transmission and the dealer replaced that. Problem solved. It was covered under and extended warranty for me, but the cost to them was $650, including rental car reimbursement.

$650 What a pain. And my extended warranty is done. Down the drain.
