Im looking into getting a new catback this summer. i want a mean classic muscle sound and my stock exhaust just isnt cutting it. i'm pretty impressed with the borla single tip stingers. i'd like to keep it under 1000, any suggestions or comments?
I have the Stingers quad tip as I love that look and as for the sound...I'd rather not drive a Vette anymore if it didn't sound the way she does. I love them and wouldn't change them ever.

They are on sale for $800 something and they are forum vendor
My car came with a set of the Borla Quad-Round stingers. I have not even gotten a chance to see if there is an X-Pipe under there or not, but I can say that the sound is ROWDY compared to my buddy who has the stock exhaust on his car. It does sound deep at idle, especially when cold, and at cruise, 70 mph+, it quiets down some, but otherwise, it is much deeper and louder than stock.
I will probably be trading my Borla Stinger system out for a Ti setup as there is NastySVT who is a few towns away from me and the next nice day/week, I'll let him see/hear my system and hope he can both take out and install the Ti setup for me to quiet my car down a bit.
They do look good;
They sound good, but I value peace and quiet nowadays;
