DIY Deeper Cupholder?
I know I've seen a post or 2 with write ups on how to make a deeper cupholder in the stock position in the past but I am having no luck of finding them after 6 pages of using the search function.
Does anyone have a link to something along these lines? I'm going to have the radio bezel off while installing some audio stuff in a week and was hoping to make a better cupholder while I was in there.

There's no space under the console to go downwards. The mods I've seen involve fitting a "collar" to give more depth upwards. That means you'd need to remove the holder door.
The other option is the "Girl in a Box" style holder that fits in the footwell.

I'm just going to get the $4 folding ones from the marine store and make my own girl-in-a-box ones then.

Girl in a box had a sale a while back,,I got 2 of them and happy with them. In expensive and fold out of the way when not in use. I have black interior,,and they are black on dark smoked bases,,almost invisible when folded. they were only something like $16 each shipped. Can't complain about that!!
