Default i have a problem......

Driver's side seat quit working.(i think the motor has burnt up) It stopped working in the worst spot, all the way back. Now it won't move to where I can get to the bolts to remove the seat. Is there some kind of trick to making the seat move? Or am I screwed?

Have you lost all the functions (memory and lumbar support) or just seat movement?

And do you have memory and telescoping steering wheel?

First thing is check the circuit breakers #4 and #35 on the passenger footwell panel

all seat movement..........I have the memory function but not the telescoping steering wheel.

How do you remove the footwell panel? Wasn't for sure if it had circuit breakers inside.

Two plastic latches at the top of the toe board. Just release them with your finger and pull to the rear.

Looking at the wiring diagram, if the seat movement has stopped but you have other functions it may be more complex. Next thing to do is check the connector under the seat and make sure its clean and properly connected. If you've lost all the functions and the cbs are good it may be the seat motor that burned out. The switches are notoriously unreliable so check that too.

The first thing to check with an electrical problem is always the fuse. Then connections.
