c5 tow huck
i was checking out these tow hooks "Pfadt C5 Rear Tow Hook" and they look great!

looks like they fit over the exhaust hanger and those bolts don't look that strong for any type of strong pulling like out of a ditch or sand trap or something?
what do you think?

LOL,
just thinking out loud, it's a cheep add-on to kind of give it that race car look but i want it to be functional as well.
what if i did get stuck one day and they hook on to this to pull me out and it fails and rip's off part of my rear end $$$ ouch!

I can tell you from experience that it works quite well. Not that we spend anytime in sand traps... 
If you are planning on getting yourself into some really hairy areas then you could order a front tow hook which comes with 3/8" bolts and rivnuts that you could install in the rear.
