Another Seat Question?

The seating surfaces are leather and the rest is vinyl with the inside of the inside bolster being cloth. From 97 through 99 or maybe 00 the outside of the side bolster was leather as well but they had a very hard time with wear in that area due to people rubbing their butts across the bolster when entering the car. My 97 started showing wear in that place within 3 days of my taking delivery. Some people had theirs rip. This piece was replaced with vinyl in 99 or 00 so the seat wouldn't show wear or rip.

I've got a '99 with the infamous rip in the side bolster. I had it repaired, but it ripped again. Maybe it was 2000 when it changed to vinyl???
I wish there was an easy way to replace just that one section... I thought about swapping the entire driver and passenger seat (I think that works in the C4 Vettes) but with the inner/center side bolster being fabric, it wouldn't work.
