Default f45 Select ride value??

First of all I dont want to get into the arguement of is the system good bad or otherwise. Been there done that. MIne has it and I use it and can tell the difference between settings. I have an opportunity to pick up all 4 shocks, sensors etc. What would one expect to pay for a system?? I know this stuff is expensive to replace so should I pick it up as a spare system?? What could I expect to sell it for??Thanks for the inputs!!

Tough question because most of us have views on whether the system is worth paying $$ for.

If I'd had the option I would not have taken it given what I now know. For me I'd pass.

If the price was right I'd probably do it, I have the system and love it but I've read enough posts about the cost of repair that I think it would be great to have a spare set just in case.

Well, I went ahead and bought the 4 shocks and sensors just in cast I need some spares. Paid $75 plus $16 shipping. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep them or offer them for sale again. Cheap insurance though.

Apologies I think I missed the point. As spares they seem like great value.

I think I'd piece part them out. You'll more than cover $90

I think the concept behind the F45 is actually quite good. Mind you, I always keep mine on the firmest setting.

I have them. Im the second owner of the car.
I like that when im just cruising on the highway, I select tour. When im playing, I pass sport and go straight to performance.

The F55s are supposed to be even better with just two modes. The cost of modifying to the F55s may keep me away from them

Same here.

For $90 why not keep them as spares. Especially if they are from a low mileage car.

I've read that a new replacement shock from Chevy is $800... for ONE SHOCK! You made out like a bandit for that price. I like it(F45 and do use it) but for that price I can buy some kick *** wheels. I'll be going aftermarket when the time comes to replace the suspension.

Yep keep em. Someday they may be able to be rebuilt. I went to the C6Z06 shocks and am very happy I have 6 used f45 shocks in the garage. Someday they might be worth something to someone who wants to keep their car original for Bloomington Gold status or something. I wont be going back to expensive and the C6Z shocks make mine ride the way I want it to ride

Thanks for the input. I'm going to keep them for now. If I were to sell them I probably would start having problems and regret selling them! I was the only bidder on ebay for them. I never expected to really win the bid but figured for that money its well spent.
