Default I'm Reading ....

Found a book yesterday while I was out...

found it used for $4.99 plus my 10% teacher discount. I am not the type to sit down and read a "book".
I have only read about 5 non automotive books from cover to cover.

I have read plenty of automotive books cover to cover, just not the "book kind of book" that my wife reads..

I have been wanting to read this book since it is all about the c5, and that is what I have.

I sat down last night and read about 40 pages, very interested so far and plan on finishing it up as soon as possible

My wife bought me another book last week, Corvette America's Sports Car. It is mainly a picture book and only has a few pages about the C5.

What books do you have or recommend that are about the C5 or Corvette's in general. List your books and if they are a good read, or just a good info/picture book.

Ahh...The legendary "All Corvettes are Red" (the rest are just mistakes) book...It's a great read, though it gets a little dry from time to time (the stuff about GM red tape)..I've read it twice....and my vette is torch red....

It's a very good book - read it a number of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.

"All corvettes are red" is to me a good example of the corvette and the crazy bureaucratic ways of the company that builds it. But another great book about Corvettes is "Corvette from the Inside" by Dave Mclellan. Great read about the engineering of the Corvette.

Read it while I was looking for mine. Very good book, and it really got me pumped up while looking for my C5 (mag red).

Love Corvette books and that's defiantly one I need to read. The last one I read was Sports Car History - Covette C5 by Patrick C. Paternie.

Read that one many years ago. Very interesting book with good insight into our cars and what it takes to get them through all the red tape to release them.

it helps to fill out a line-up card to help keep up with all the players.

politics and conflicts abound..... makes a person wonder how the C5 ever got built.
