Well,, for one,,it is a pretty weak concentration. It will help keep deposits from forming,,and is much better than running cheap gas with even less detergent additive. The C5 float mechanism has proven to be vulnerable to corrosion and or deposits,,especially in ones that aren't driven a lot. Techron has a proven record as a system cleaner,,so when you can get it on sale it is really cheap insurance to throw a little extra strong concentration a few times a year. Sales prices break it down to $10-12 a year. An extra plus is that it is a fuel system cleaner,,so tank,pump gauge/float,lines,injectors,valves and combustion chamber get an extra blast of cleaner. I think the extra protection is worth it for a few bucks a year!!

I have found Seafoam is 10 times better than Techron through experience.A year ago my fuel gauge stopped working, everyone said use Techron,after 5 bottles in a years time no success I almost bought new sensors. Then a friend told me about Seafoam,after one bottle it started working sporadically after two bottles its back working properly and has been for 6 months.

PM = Preventative Maintenance

Gas mix is very small. Bottle is concentrated and good idea at each oil change or once a year.

Yes, that's the good stuff. It cured my gas gauge problem and I will continue to use it as prevention. Some of us don't have a Chevron stations within 500 miles..

Auto Value carries it along with most Parts stores. But I would go with the Techron. You will smoke up the whole neighborhood with seafoam.

Only if you put it in with oil to clean the motor, no smoke if you put it in with the gas. Works well in both areas of the car.

Here's a thought,,,If you don't have an Advanced store around,,hit their web site,,print out the add and take it to your store. Most stores have a price match policy!!

what exactly was the product to put in the fuel system? I remember I put it in very long ago, but can't remember what it was called.

What it just called Techron fuel system cleaner? I don't remeber ever seeing "concentrate" in the name. Is it #1 or #2?

Probably the same but #2 is what you'll see in the store now!
