Default Returning to the forum

Was a member a couple of years ago when I sold my 98 Coupe and got on a waiting list for a new ZO6. Well, lots of water under the bridge since then and now I finally have a new one in route. Actually glad I waited considering the HP increase and I always wanted HUD in my 98.
I always found the forum informative but hated sifting through the BS threads (flamers, etc.) It's much better now than it was a couple of years ago. Got back on when I started shopping for the new car and want to thank the members for leading me to the best deal I've found, or heard of, anywhere (went through Vetnet). There are a lot of used Z's out there if you look for them but IMHO the dealers can't compete with the Vetnet discount and Chevy rebate. Good thing is I got to drive a couple of O1's and what an animal of a car. Can't wait to see what the 02 will do.
For the guy thinking about buying the (hard) used one for $41,900. Think about this...why does one buy the most powerful american production car made? To drive it and drive it hard! Keep looking and you'll find a much better car and better deal too.

Glad to be back :conehead

P.S. I've seen a lot of Air Force pilots on here...the conehead is cause I'm a retired AF Missile Maintainer (AKA coneheads).

Thought of a couple of questions ya'll might be able to help me with. What's the URL for Jim Hall. Had one of the very first Stage 1 Halltech intakes on my 98 but don't recall how to get to his site. Also, what does the percentage after the number of posts mean?

Welcome back!

Jim is at -www.CorvetteC5.com-

The percentage points are a measure of whether you've been a good boy or not - points get deducted by the mods for flaming, inappropriate posts, etc. If you get to zero, you're outta here...
