I did see something clipped into the side of the fuse box, i didnt pull it out, ok were is the other one, need some pics, i hate to pay more money so the installer can connect it to the back of the radio, please some more pics of the connectors, on the footwell
This supposedly leaves the 12-disk changer in place, gives a headphone style jack and a USB port for charging. This is the only one I have ever seen that does not disconnect the CD changer. Plug it in and done.
You'll have to e-mail them to be sure that is is connected AND functional.
Hey if this is against the rules, someone let me know. Wasn't meaning to send buisness out from our vendors here but I don't think anyone makes this but freecom...

why would you even want one? Why not just get the ipod setup? i dont even think i know how to use my 12 disk cd changer
Its up to the owner, i just bought mine, and having problem upon problem, would you be able to post a pic? the connection is supposedely on the passengers footwell
Here's my story. I bought a 1999 C-5 a coulple years ago without a CD changer. I bought a 2004 12 disc changer on Ebay which had the mounting brackets attached, but could not find the brackets that are attached to the well. I bought the cable on Ebay which was a little short, but worked out because I got a 1/2" thick board, countered-sunk in the back 4 carridge bolts for the the bracket on the player to mount. I then used JB Weld Kwik (which sets up in 4 minutes to attach the board (which I painted Gray) to the well on the right back side because the cable did run a little short (supposed to be on the left back side of the well). The connection in the footwell is on the bottom left side tucked away. There's 2 but only one will work on the cable. An earlier posting had pics so search for it. The cable I bought also had pics & instructions, but I can't find them.

You can have it all
I have a 12 CD changer, my iPod, and my SAT Radio plus a spare input for any other device I might want to add in the future. All play through my stock Bose head unit and speakers.
