I love mine, its either between these or the Toyo R888's next set. My car isnt a DD so putting street tires back on isnt worth it.

I just got mine installed an absolutely love them. You won't believe the grip!!! It's very encouraging to hear people getting 8000 miles out of a set. I assume I'll need a set every year. I can live with that.
I might go with a set of NT-01 once the NT555R2 are done.
Don't hesitate get them.
I got them from www.discounttire.com for $942 for the set.

Interested in the "heat cycle" concept myself, the only thing I'm unclear about on these tires. How is it done? Almost sounds like 'breaking in' the tires?

I got about 5,000 miles out of my first set. Don't buy these tires if you're looking for a 50,000 mile tire!

Is anyone running the Nittos on 18 x 10.5 Z06 wheels on all corners? Tire sizes?

you can do it yourself but the problem is that your alignment probably won't put 100% of the tires surface area on the ground, so maybe only a portion of the tire will get heat cycled instead of the whole thing.

tirerack uses rollers to simulate the road. I had my set heat cycled by them for the extra 8 per tire, or whatever they charged, and I've got a few thousand miles, couple track days and a couple autox's and still have tons of tread left.

Less than 1000 if you're using them right!

Seriously, I think I've got about 8 track days/~ 24 heat cycles on my first set and they're on my extra wheels as spares. Decent center tread but the front outsides are worn.

Discount tire just had them on sale. I bought two sets for less than a set of PS2s.

Great tires! If you haven't driven them on the track you're missing what they're really all about!

my track day set is a 285/35/18 set of R2's on 18x10.5. the 285's are virtually the same tread width as the stock 295 GY SC's, and the 11.22" width is perfect for a 10.5" wheel.
