Thanks a LOT everyone for all the tips and photos
Definitely going with Chrome
From the CCW web site it looks like they do not offer them in chrome. I know you can get them chromed by any of a number of chrome specialty shops. I'm going to be contacting CCW early next week and see if they have a chrome shop they recommend.
At one time WCC on the left coast offered the CCW's ( cute that the letters are reversed) and would have them sent out and chromed for an additional cost. But WCC doesn't handle the CCW's any longer as far as I can tell from their web site.
I'm probably going to go with the SP20A chromed. Yea I know they will be a PIA to clean with all the surfaces...........
Any updates on the chromed version of the 505as? I dont want to deal with the work required on the polished upkeep and as I now need new tires ...........

Deb, since you have a TR Coupe, thought you might like to see what the 505's look like on. Mine are polished but it will give a rough idea of what they'll look like on your car
Considered going with chrome 505s' for easy care and more bling....glad I didn't.
About a month ago I was at a car show and while cleaning my wheels I discovered I had scraped one of my front wheels. My heart sank.
Then I remembered a thread I saw here in the Forum on how to repair curb rash on polished wheels. After a hour of using emery paper, wet sandpaper and metal polish, the wheel looked like new again.
If it was a chrome wheel it pretty much would have been ruined.

BUT how much time do you spend cleaning the polished ones.
I bought my CCW 505as last summer and I have to agree on the PIA they are to keep clean with out chrome. When I was thinking about buying the rims I humm'd and haww'd for a long time and I finally bought from CCW after talking to John at CCW. He only recommends one place to get the rims chromed-- Kuntz Electroplating in Kitchener, Ontario. At the time, Kuntz didn't really deal direct with the public. Well, being a persistent bastard I finally found some one who would talk to me; Joe Kuntz. A year went by due to logistics, but I dropped the rims off at Kuntz last week and I got a factory tour... AWESOME! Kuntz does OEM chroming for Corvette, Cadillac and Harley-Davidson. I love plant tours-- the coolest part was the robotic polishers.
I cannot wait to see my 505as chromed! PM me if you would like more details or email joe.kuntz@kuntz.com. I'll post picture when I get the rims back!
