Is anyone aware if there's a front license plate bracket for a 2004 Vette.
I happen to live in NYS and have to display a front plate by law. I'm looking for something tofill the gap around the plate.
There is a couple of them on the market....The dealer has the factory modle you have to paint it to match or just use it in black finish that it comes in..I dont have any pictures of mine but there will be a lot of responce for the gang...
I painted the U shaped piece the body color also, and I think it's about the best solution available.
The other option is the clear bubble painted around the perimeter while still leaving the plate exposed.

A number of vendors sell the painted version of the stock license plate surround. Or you can get the factory black piece. If that's all you want, try one of the used parts vendors listed on the left of the screen near the bottom of the vendor listing.

I got mine from one of the supporting vendors here and painted it with spray cans I got from a GM dealer. I ended up getting the same paint code also from O'reillys
I also painted around the outside of the clear bubble cover. Be sure to paint the inside of the bubble and you won't get rock chips in the paint. I painted a little more than I should have as it restricts the plate view from a side angle. Had it on for well over a year and never been stopped however. Ron
I am not knocking anyones plate covers. The front end with the plate in it looks terrible. I live in a front plate required state and i choose not run a front plate, but if I had to I would get one that flips up from under the fascia
