I see so many screen names on the forum that I just don't understand. Some are obvious, many are not. What does yours mean or where did it come from?
Mine, Crusher, was given to me when I was 18 and entered a demolition derby. My neighbor, a sign painter, took my helmet and Painted "Crusher Kevin Auto Destroyer" on it. Been Crusher ever since.
The Demolition Derby? Did that only once. Got the hell beat out of me. Was lucky to have a lap belt back then let alone any other safety equipment.
Mine came from online gaming back when i was in my 20's. Orignal was Super_Cod, always thought it was funny cause the game would say "XX Fragged by Super_Cod!!! After a while i just became Cod.
But before the gaming a few drinking buddies and myself had razzin nick names for each other, they'd call me Cod, i'll call him Homey and so on.... it just kind of stuck after that. Some werent' so nice but.... we were young..
I wanted to use my usual username of RedKnight, but it was taken. That name has a history to it with my Camaro. So, I came up with the obvious MilleniumVette for my 2000 Coupe.
o5charlie was my MOS when I was in the Army. I was a radio operator with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in 67 & 68 (Vietnam). My avatar is my Vette which has the insignia on the pillar for the unit.
I actually hate my screen name. I came up with it a long time ago when i first enlisted to be my username on ebay because i'm not very creative. Well now its the only thing i'm sure i can remember because i still use ebay and since i'm not that creative i can't think of anything else.
Back when Snoopdoggy dogg got popular we added dogg to everyones name- mine stuck- some of my buddies still call me Leedogg to this day. It started as Leedogg96TA on many boards since that was my car- but since then I have tried to hedge it back to Leedogg since I am on MANY boards for my different vehicles.
I don't eat seafood. So I was explaining my food philosophy to a lady friend of mine...."If it didn't have hoovs, feathers, high heels or sneakers, I don't eat it". Well, I slipped and said "high HEARS, or SNEAKELS". She thought it was HILARIOUS, and started calling me her Sneakelman.
It's been almost ten years now, and I'm still the Sneaks!
