Default TPS help.....

Hi guys;
You've helped me with my everything else, and now I would like to know if I can program the Tire Pressure Sensors with no tires on the wheels, tires haven't arrived yet, sensors mounted on wheels, could put the wheels on each corner and program but i don't know if that is possible without the tires being mounted. I thought that maybe it would program and just read low tire pressure. Your thoughts? Thanks always guys.......bob.

You can program the sensors w/o them even being in the wheels. Just mark them as to which wheel they go to! I sat inside my car to look at DIC while I was doing them. Just put a magnet over valve stem on the one that the DIC said to do. IE: Left Front, Right Front, etc.

Yes you can program them that way, but the sensors have a serial number and when you program them that number gets assigned to a certain location for example left front. So if you do it that way make sure they are put back on in the same location. By the way they won't work properly until you drive the car for a few miles.

It's actually the easiest way to do it. You don't even need to use a very strong magnet.
