I just picked my car up from an alignment and new tires(Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole Positions). Wow what a difference regular tires makes over runcraps. Actually felt like I was driving a luxary sedan compared to how abusive the runflat ride is. A LOT less noise as well. I will post more once I get some miles on them.

I've got about 4K on Goodyear GSD3's and love them. Can't see myself ever running the craps again. Enjoy your new found ride

I got rid of my runcraps too. Went with Kumho Ecstas all the way around. Made a HUGE difference.

I carry a plug kit but man is it tough to plug these tires. I had a screw in my rear tire - plugged it at home. I ended up using a 2lb sledge hammer and hammer the tool into the tire. Plug has been in a year and up to 150(forgot I had the plug in) with no problems so far. These are Firestone Firehawks. I'm replacing them for this year with a set of Falken Azenis 315/30/18 all around (if I don't have to raise the front back up to clear them).

Remind me to add a 2lb sledge hammer to my fix kit

I've been running the D3s now for many years and continue to be amazed at how good they are. I have the Mercedes aluminum jack, a 12-volt compressor, plug kit and pliers, but really, most nails or screws that penetrate deep enough to puncture the tire, allow air to escape very slowly, if at all. In most cases, you will have time to get home or to any tire shop.

Love them RE960s!! Better wet traction-dry traction, and much much less abusive than the GDY F1 RFTs. Good call

My General UHP's non-RF's are just fine. Nice and smooth, with less noise.......
