Just make sure you know these tires are Asymmetrical !

In other words they do NOT make a left and Right Tire. The Treads will Point in one direction on one side of the Car. While they will Point in the Opposite Direction on the Other Side. They Look Strange on a Car to me!

While I go for maximum dry traction/performance they would never be seen on my car so they can look as weird as they want on someone elses ..

I have them on the rear of my Z. They don't look weird.... of course I drive my car rain or shine. I don't spend my tome waxing the tread...... They are great tires. Had them 1.5 years and 15K miles. plenty of wet/dry traction. Even cold they do a good job!!!

It seems those who have them are satisfied with their performance regardless of tread pattern. I suppose if they where asymmetrical they would cost enough to take them out of the "reasonably prices alternative" category?

I like mine. Got them on e-bay. Good all around tire. However next set will be the Nitto NT-05s. Just a few bucks more for a much better tire. A complete set of the Nittos run about $100 more than the Vreds. My buddy got his Nittos last week. I had a chance to drive them. Nice! I have no complaints about the Vreds though. Fair price for a good tire. Just don't go Firestone. Firestones=chicken legs.

Default Vred tires

I got mine from Tomz Wheels July 08 $679.00 shipped.
They are a very good tire with excellent traction & wear.
275 on front & 295 rear. They are very quiet also. They are
a much better tire than the supercars. Even in the cold, they
keep me going straight & not sideways.

Rain??? you drive your car in the rain??? But isnt it hard to wax the underside when it gets water spots. I didnt know these cars were supposed to be driven just looked at let alone driven in the rain. Who cares if they are a good rain tire ....they look funny...

Default Vred tires

I have had mine for about 18,000 miles. These are hands down the best rain tire I have ever had! I live is Washington State where it rains most every day. I think the tread looks good, very agressive, if the fact that they are not all pointing the same bothers you don't buyem! I paid about $600 Dlvd, next closest thing was about $900 and won't last as long! I can barely see any wear on mine and I drive it hard at least once or twice a week.

Thanks to all for in put! Would seem to me after careful consideration, Toyo's would be the way to go considering stock sizes & reviews. Thanks, Rod

The VS tires are not just good tires .... they are great tires! And they look supercool when viewed from the rear - badass, in fact. They may be the quietest super hi-perf tires you can run, also. The difference from the F-1's is remarkable. Rain? Ha ..... you can ignore the water on the road if you happen to get caught in a shower. With F-1's I was afraid to turn the wheel or accelerate on wet pavement. The wear is great and the traction is awesome. I love my set and will happily replace with same .... if mine ever wear out, that is.

Now this I want to hear more of! Bought a full set and waiting for my car to be fixed from my accident. I think they look great too. I had toyos on when my rear lost it on a 40 degree day with rain water on the ground. OK, there might of been something mixed with the water, oil maybe even a little black ice and I don't think any tire would of held because of those reasons, but I always felt un-safe in the rain with the Toyos. The Michelin PS2 now on the other hand...but were talking about a whole new price category there.
From what I've read about Verdesteins, I believe I will be very happy
