um how bout you call a local dealer and see what they will give you? Not the dealer you WANT to use, but a competing dealer a few towns away :-P get a ball park.. dont guess.

I agree that is almost summer, and you can always get betterin a private sale. just more aggravation.

Always NEGOCIATE your buying price FIRST. Without taking trade in with it. AFTER u settle a price.. THEN and ONLY THEN say, and now if i wanted to trade in how much.

My guess, anywhere from $10K-12K would be about all they will give you. If you're not in a rush, try selling it yourself.

Good luck.
- I've heard autotrader is better than Cars.com, I may have to try her on there, yeah I only want to sell it if I get in the $13's somewhere. There is actually a Corvette club here in San Diego I have been in contact with, they have a listing in their newsletter, I bet it will go on there, well I'll stop talking to myself. Thanks!

Don't sell it! Where else can you buy a car that will turn heads with that kind of horsepower for $12,000. BTW the sales tax in Chicago is 10%. Someone from Georgia posted 6% and I was wondering what it is down state? I'm guessing around 8%.

I go through the same question in the fall, then spring comes and summer and I say hell Im keeping her, dont sell your car man ! Just be patient someone will come along, the stealership is going to either lowball you, or tack it on the next ride, like someone said in an earlier post where else can you get the horsepower and turn heads mine is a 99 vert and I tell ya she hold her own next to the exotics, Your car is in GREAT SHAPE! My alternative is im keeping her and going to try to grap an "05" Quatraporte late 09 or early "10" then I will have the best of both worlds.

I may be trading my 2004 in this weekend w/ 3,200 miles. The dealership is offering $25,000.00. Because of the tax difference on the one I may buy, I would have to sell it outright for $28,500.00. I dont think anyone would offer me that when 2004 Z06 are going for that and less.

JoJo was that Sullivan Chev in Champaign? If so go back with a better offer. They are high but a low mile 07 should sell at about $48k.
