I wanted a C-5 ZO6, 03. Bought one yellow, 5000 miles one owner all options for $26000. What do you think? I have a 09 Z and love it but have not followed the pricing on C-5s. I just like the style and the powerplant for my own reasons. What do they usually weigh? Thanks for your help.

I think you paid a fair price for a very very low mileage C5Z So, yes...I would consider that a good deal.

You did very well at that price and mileage assumign the car is very clean and well maintained.
The C5Z are also very light cars and barely heavier that your C6 Z and I believe the C5 Z empty come in right around 3150 lbs.
Can anyone else verify the weight of a stock C5 Z with no driver in it?
A darn near new car for 1/2 price,I think you did great. But why would you get a C5Z when the 09Z is soooo sweeet?
I have owned many Corvettes over the years including the very rare 315 hsp. 1960 alum. head car in 1961. I am concerned about the direction GM is headed and that is the reason I bought the 09. I believe we have seen the last of Z's as someone of my age has come to appreciate. I am just a car guy. I have a 08 vert as well. Thanks

I remember the factory hotrods disappear in the blink of an eye in the early 70's. I have my 02Z and my 63,so I'm ready for the dry up. I just wish I could pull off a 3'rd vette thats a great stable you have there.
C5Z weighs in at 3118 according to Corvette Black Book. I think the Z16 version was 10 poounds or so lighter because of the carbon fiber hood used on them.

My previous observations is that many folks adding the body kit generally do it because their car was damaged. Few will made changes like that to vehicle in good condition. The supercharger although expensive rarely adds resale value. That being said the price was reasonable.
