Default Help with Front Lowering Bolts

I have a set of new C6 and C5 front lowering bolts stock form with bushings untouched to play with.

Was wondering if I install the C6 bolts as they are and lower all the way what will happen compared to the c5 bolts lowered all the way?

What about cutting bushings on both?

thanks

The C6 bolts will go much lower than the C5 bolts. Do a search, I found TONS of great information on this topic. Just lowered mine using the ZIP kit.

The front bolts will make no difference becasue you screw them down to lower, or you can cut the bushing or remove all together.

In order to lower the rear more, you need longer bolts becasue you raise the bolts to lower the car

Peace
Chip

The C6 bolts will lower your car about 3/8" more in the front then the stock C5 bolts. Most poeple just cut some of the bushing on the C5 bolt for the same effect.

If it's too low for you just go back and adjust the bolts again.

Hello everyone...

I just need some help here.. These things sit so low to the ground now that that we typically have to be cautious of road bumps and uneven road now.. I understand that the lower you go, the wind resistance, MPG, and other things factor in to benefit overall.. But.. As I said, these things sit so low now that I have question why do this... ??? For show only or...??

I put C6 bolts on the front of mine and only got about 1/4" more drop than originals turned all the way down. Not much difference at all.

Thats sounds about right. The difference between a stock bolt and C6 lowering bolt is minimal. Go to link. Left to right Stock, Hardbar, and C6 WCC Lowering Bolt.

I am currently running the C6 WCC lowering bolts in mine.
