Here are some pics of my two favorite pieces of American Machinery
I first flew this very same F4 on 2 Aug 1976. It's now a Gate Guardian but it still has that true mark of class. Its good to see her looking so good and wearing the colors of 23 sqn, the Sqn I served with in the Falkland Islands.
I first drove my Vert on 19 Dec 2002 and it sits in the same elite category. You may notice a touch of nostalgia if you check out my license tag.
Being an Air Force ballistic missile technician, I loved that plane. It remains my favorite! It was a monster and when the Thunderbirds flew here in the US, it was a he!! of a show!
It's cool that you flew that actual jet. You must have some real sense of pride seeing it and knowing that it advanced Great Britain's position and prestige.
And coupled with a phenomenal car! Great pics, thanks for sharing.
