Default removing MAF after SD tune

i had my 02z dyno tuned after my exhaust/cai install and we did it in SD. I still have my MAF hooked up but i was wanting to remove it and replace it with a piece of hose. Like the cleaner look without the MAF. Do i need to do anything with the harness that goes into the MAF? Do i need to install a IAT sensor in the hose? Thanks

Is this car street driven? Why the hell do a Speed Density tune?? Makes absolutely no sense on a maf car.

my tuner really got the tune spot on with the sd tune. It was tuned first with the maf and i keep getting check engine light. He was just going to adjust the tune with some street tuning. But ended up doing the new tune as a SD tune. The car runs a lot smoother now and has shown no neg side effects.

You wil never have to worry about MAF and o2 sensors ever again which is worth it to guys that get the dreaded "insufficient switching" code after LT's. Those things add up over a period of time.

You also get better throttle response with a SD tune.
