99 vette stinger hood
higuys i been trying forever to find a hood scoop for my 99 vette i just want the stinger scoop only i have found the complte hood but not just the scoop / does anyone have a site i can get one .

Havnt seen one on a C5 but there are some Camaro's around here with em.You might want to get one of the hand laid stinger repo hoods (lots cheaper than original press molded) and modify.

thats nice hood are those race strips or one solid black piece.. let me ask is there any mods for the forced air to work or is it just for looks.
anyhow i think i like this hood better ,, were did you get it or a site i can find it ,,,

the hood is functional but would really doesnt come close to where our CAI sets. so mainly mine is for looks
The hood is painted red and i had the black painted on as well. No stickers.
I can get them for you but need to sell two hoods at a time to get pricinng needed.
However, forum member and supporting vendor SICMSP has a nice group buy on these right now for like 675.00 or something like that i dont recall price.
Send him a PM and tell him your interested in a hood like I have and he will help you.
here is a couple more pics showing hood.
I will note as well.
The top of this hood came in real nice shape in a gray gel coat. The bottom was a little rough and needed some work to get smooth and paint ready.

yea i def. like the hod better than the stinger..
one more thing does it affect your vision from the diver seat.
i was reading on the rksport site and it said about 2 inches high...
the cowllooks alittil higher in the pics..
